My Favorite Greek Yogurt.

Fage (pronounced Fa-Yeh) is my favorite Greek yogurt.

Why? Not only does it have the richest and creamiest texture of all of the Greek yogurts that I have tried, but it is low in sugar and high in protein. (Disclaimer: Fage is not the only gold standard of plain Greek yogurt.) It tastes like it has a lower than average water content, which probably means that it is strained for a longer time than the average Greek yogurt. All of the Fage yogurt containers come with a small coffee-filter textured cheese cloth on top to absorb any extra moisture.
Even the flavored Fage yogurts are great. Unlike many other flavored Greek yogurt options, Fage offers sweet toppings on the side of their plain yogurt, rather than as a blended or fruit on the bottom option. Albeit flavored yogurts have more sugar than the plain yogurts, you can control the amount of topping. If you are looking for some sweet, but not all of the sugar from a blended yogurt – this is a great option.
Tip: Having 2% Fage Greek yogurt instead of 0%, may contain more total fat and saturated fat, but it also contains more Vitamin A. Remember, Vitamin A is a fat soluble vitamin. Without the fat, there goes the Vitamin A!
